Right now we are focused on creating timepieces with Japanese, mechanical movements.
This may change in the future, but Japanese movements are globally known to be fantastic. -
Mechanical watches are generally suggested to be serviced every five years. However, users of quality Japanese mechanical movements can go decades without any maintenance.
Gaskets and water resistance can degrade over time. For users that get their watches wet, or like to swim (100m or better water resistance recommended) with their watches, regular maintenance is considered wise. -
Most watch repair shops can easily help. Japanese automatic movements are popular and parts are plentiful.

This is early in the game to answer this question. Maybe, maybe not. But as of now, plans are to keep every batch of timepieces small, treating them as wearable, works of art, not disposable products. This will allow our shop to focus more time on each timepiece.
